The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 5+ years of supervisory experience in a service or manufacturing environment, with strong Excel skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting activities including general ledger, costing, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit.
• Lead, support and provide day-to-day guidance to accounting staff.
• Daily cash monitoring and analysis to ensure proper cash flow.
• Create and post journal entries and schedules for month-end close.
• Prepare monthly fixed asset depreciation, additions, disposals, and transfers.
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements and related management reporting.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Interact with banks regarding credit agreements and lines of credit.
• Resolve issues that arise within accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting activities including general ledger, costing, payroll, accounts payable, account receivable, and credit.
• Leads, supports and provides day to day guidance of accounting staff members.
• Daily cash monitoring and analysis to ensure proper handling of cash flow.
• Responsible for creating & posting all journal entries and related schedules for month end close.
• Prepare monthly fixed asset depreciation along with additions, disposals and transfers.
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements.
• Complete related management reporting.
• Reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Interact with the banks regarding credit agreements and lines of credit.
• Problem solve any issues that may arise within accounting systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of supervisory experience within a service or manufacturing company
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with respectful demeanor
• Good overall business acumen
• Strong computer skills, specifically Excel
