Responsibilities

  • Oversee facility financial activity and maintain accurate books and records.
  • Perform primary quality review on financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Analyze monthly financial performance.
  • Prepare financial statements and notes for issuance.
  • Oversee completion of monthly project plans and quality checklists.
  • Maintain fully reconciled and audit ready balance sheets.
  • Act as team lead and guide staff on completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Proactively guide workflow to ensure deadlines are met and resolve questions and issues.
  • Conduct periodic check-ins and provide feedback to staff.
  • Assist in annual reviews.
  • Notify team of policy changes and accounting updates.
  • Ensure transparent communication between stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on portfolio transactions and related activities.
  • Inform management/client of concerns affecting objectives.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports for management and clients.
  • Develop annual budgets with the client.
  • Collaborate on annual revenue, expense, and staffing budgets.
  • Enter annual detail budget into budget book and load to TM1.
  • Act as a resource within the organization.
  • Participate in training new employees.
  • Recommend new processes to assist workflow.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Audits, reviews, tax file preparation.
  • Bank BBCs and covenants.
  • Adding/setup new facilities.
  • Ad hoc projects and reporting.
  • Calls with clients to review monthly financials and questions.

Job description

Job Purpose
  • Primary point of contact for AGS clients for all financial matters
  • Maintain books and records and perform quality controls over Financial Statements
  • Execute on the project plans for the completion of monthly and ad-hoc deliverables, and proactively guide staff accountants on their monthly tasks.
  • Lead role in preparing for audits and liaison with external CPA firms
  • Ad hoc projects and reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure transparent communication between all relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team and other AGS departments on portfolio transactions and close related activities
  • Proactively inform management and / or client of concerns or barriers to achieving objectives (e.g. financial results or meeting timelines)
  • Inform and consult with client regarding any significant changes to the monthly financials
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports for management and clients
  • Develop annual budgets with the client
  • Collaborate with client management on annual revenue, expense, and staffing budget.
  • Enter annual detail budget into budget book and load to TM1
  • Act as a resource within the organization
