Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounting Specialist for an on-site role in Auburn, WA. You will support day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close, partnering with accounting, operations, and HR.

The role offers a stable, full-time on-site environment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, with a schedule of Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., growth opportunities into leadership, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years combined AP, AR, payroll, and/or general accounting experience.
• Hands-on invoice processing and general ledger coding experience.
• Experience supporting payroll for ~100 employees in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, match to PO and receiving docs, and code to GL accounts.
• Prepare weekly AP check runs and maintain vendor records.
• Manage corporate credit card transactions, coding, payments, and reconciliations.
• Process accounts receivable invoices and customer payments on time.
• Assist with payroll for ~100 employees and month-end close activities.
• Support benefits administration, onboarding, and leave processes as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
