Job summary

Himmel’s Architectural Door & Hardware, LLC in Grapevine, TX, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to maintain project documents, billing, and balances through completion. This role supports project managers and customers across our commercial door and architectural specialties portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, at least three years of billing experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, with opportunities for growth within a family-owned

Qualifications

• 3 years billing experience.
• 1 year accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Able to perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually and in a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, helpful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Complete invoicing and processing monthly pay applications using industry-specific software.
• Submit billings through multiple customer websites.
• Scan and file electronic copies of all project-related documents.
• Communicate with Project Managers and customers regarding updates on all projects.
• Conduct project audits.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable and Contract Controller tasks when necessary.
• Proficiently utilize Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).

TheAccounting Specialistposition is responsible for maintaining the documents, billing and balancing of all projects until completion.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 3 years Billing experience.
• 1-year Accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel software.
• Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team.
• Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, strong communication skills and a positive and helpful demeanor.
• Ability to routinely lift and move objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens.
