Job summary

CALIBRE Systems, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist/AP to independently manage all accounts payable processes in a fast-paced environment in the United States. The role requires three years of accounting experience, proficiency with Deltek Costpoint or GovCon ERP systems, and strong Excel skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities are essential.

Salary range will be $55k-$65K. This role focuses on process improvements and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint or GovCon ERP systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Independently manage all of the AP processes
• Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices
• Prepare accounts payable vouchers to include approvals and account codings
• Review and process expense reports
• Perform weekly check run
• Process monthly subcontractor timesheets
• Work on process improvements
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Minimum of three years of Accounting experience
• Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint or other GovCon ERP systems
• Extremely detailed in a highly fast environment
• Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Excel)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with whom interaction is required

Preferred Experience/Skills

• BA/BS in Accounting and/or Finance from an accredited college/university
• Other education along with commensurate experience may be substituted

Salary range will be $55k-$65K
