Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of payroll processing experience.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with payroll and accounting software (Paylocity, QuickBooks Desktop).
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Experience supporting HR or benefits administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Process accounts payable, including employee expense reimbursements.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records and integrity of financial data.
• Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll accurately and timely.
• Review and verify employee timecards, overtime, leave balances, and payroll adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws across multiple states.
• Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounting or payroll.
• Assist in implementing accounting systems, processes, and special projects.
