Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is recruiting on behalf of a nonprofit organization with global operations for an Accounting Operations Manager. You will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including AP/AR, cash forecasting, reconciliations, and month-end close, while driving process improvements.

Key duties include supporting Dynamics NAV upgrades, managing international payments, assisting with Form 990 filings, and strengthening financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in accounting operations with AP/AR, cash management, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting and audit preparation is preferred.
• Knowledge of international payments and vendor verification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and GAAP reporting, including cash journals and AP/AR activity.
• Oversee weekly AP cash forecasting, payment batches, vendor verification and banking relations.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and transparency.
• Support Dynamics NAV upgrades and cross‑functional, international collaboration on financial processes.
• Coordinate Form 990 preparation and assist with external audits.

Accounting Operations Manager

About the Company / Opportunity

Our client is a nonprofit organization with operations spanning multiple countries and a mission focused on supporting communities and creating lasting impact. The organization is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations while identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen reporting, and support financial systems.

This is a hands‑on role overseeing AP/AR, cash forecasting, reconciliations, month‑end close, audit preparation, and financial reporting. The Accounting Operations Manager will also contribute to systems and process improvements and participate in financial system upgrades.

The ideal candidate is curious, takes ownership, and enjoys digging into how things work and finding ways to make them better. Someone who asks questions, follows through, and brings some humor to the team will fit well.

Responsibilities

• Support month‑end close, account reconciliations, and accurate GAAP financial reporting, including cash journals and AP/AR activity
• Oversee weekly AP cash forecasting, payment batches, vendor verification, and banking relationships
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and transparency across accounting operations
• Support Microsoft Dynamics NAV upgrades and enhancements, troubleshoot system and payment issues, and partner with cross‑functional and international teams on financial process improvements
• Support international payment processes and related system enhancements
• Coordinate annual Form 990 preparation and filing and provide schedules and documentation for external audits

What You Bring

• Accounting operations or management experience with hands‑on knowledge of AP, AR, cash management, reconciliations, and month‑end close
• FloQast and Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience strongly preferred
• Audit preparation experience; nonprofit accounting experience preferred
• International payments or accounting experience and vendor verification experience are a plus
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
• Process‑oriented and accountable, with the ability to identify inefficiencies, implement practical improvements, ask questions, and collaborate effectively across teams and international locations
