Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities (GL, AP, AR, billing) and reconciliations.

Accounting Manager | $120,000 to $130,000 + Bonus/Benefits

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, solid technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to improve financial processes while supporting the company's overall financial goals.

The Accounting Manager will supervise accounting activities, manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, prepare and review financial statements, and work closely with management to provide accurate and timely financial information for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and reconciliations.


• Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.


• Month-End and Year-End Close: Manage the closing process to ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting.


• Internal Controls: Establish, implement, and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.


• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budget preparation, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning and analysis.


• Account Reconciliations: Review balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.


• Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements. Coordinate internal and external audits as needed.


• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while promoting accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.


• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve reporting efficiency, and strengthen financial controls.


• Management Support: Provide financial analysis, identify variances and trends, and communicate key findings and recommendations to leadership.


• Systems Management: Oversee the effective use of accounting software and financial systems, ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.


• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.


• Experience managing general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial close processes.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.


• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and audit preparation.


• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Effective communication and leadership skills.


• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or other relevant professional accounting certification.
