Job summary

Vista Higher Learning is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to lead AP, AR, billing, collections, and cash management. You will drive end-to-end Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash operations, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and collaborate with Finance on system implementations and process redesign.

You will manage AP/AR teams, enhance controls, and identify automation opportunities, including Ramp optimization and NetSuite deployment, while maintaining GAAP compliance and preparing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with significant exposure to AP, AR, billing, collections, and operational accounting functions.
• 3+ years of management experience leading accounting or finance professionals.
• Experience managing transactional accounting teams in a growth-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading process-improvement, system implementation, or finance transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, operational accounting processes, and audit requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP, AR, billing, collections, cash management, and transaction processing.
• Lead AP and AR teams, ensuring timely and accurate payment cycles.
• Strengthen controls and identify automation opportunities; support Ramp optimization and NetSuite implementation.
• Partner with Finance leadership on system implementations and operational enhancements.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with policies and audit requirements.
• Develop operational reporting and performance metrics related to AP/AR and cash flow.
