Bus Parts Warehouse (BPW) is a dynamic, national industry leader in supplying school bus parts with a mission rooted in one powerful philosophy: Transportation Safety First. Our offerings go beyond parts—we provide custom vinyl lettering, a wide assortment of decals, and both standard and custom-made school bus seat covers.

About the Role

We’re looking to hire a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting & Office Administrator to take the reins from a long-tenured team member preparing for retirement. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Allentown, PA/Upper Macungie area, and is central to keeping our financial and operational engine running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle accounting: AP, AR, journal entries, reconciliations, monthly close
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and workpapers
  • Monitor cash flow, bank relationships, and customer billings
  • Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to support daily operations
  • Assist with payroll prep and interface with external payroll provider
  • Coordinate with external CPA firm for year-end reviews and tax filings
  • Handle ad hoc administrative support and special projects
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in distribution or manufacturing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; Associate’s considered with strong experience
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills; NetSuite experience is a plus
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills with a team-player attitude
  • CPA or Notary is a plus (not required)
