Job summary

RideNow Powersports in Ocala, FL is seeking an Accounting Manager — Store to join our finance team. You will own AP processes, ensure accurate invoicing, and support timely payments and reconciliation in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Invoice management & processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Data & system entry: Input invoice data into the accounting system accurately to prepare for seamless payment processing.
• Payment processing & disbursements: Prepare and process electronic payments (ACH, wire transfers, checks), monitor schedules for timely disbursements.
• Reconciliations & closing support: Reconcile vendor statements and assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Financial reporting & documentation: Generate and maintain accounts payable aging reports and payment activity summaries.
• Compliance & auditing: Ensure compliance with company policies and tax requirements (including 1099 reporting).
• Stakeholder communication: Serve as primary contact for vendor desk regarding payment status and collaborate with store network to resolve disputes.
• Process improvement & automation: Utilize AP automation tools to enhance productivity and accuracy.

What You’ll Own & Achieve

• Invoice Management & Processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization. Match invoices to purchase orders and documentation while promptly resolving discrepancies.
• Data & System Entry: Input invoice data into the accounting system accurately to prepare for seamless payment processing.
• Payment Processing & Disbursements: Prepare and process electronic payments (ACH, wire transfers, checks), monitor schedules for timely disbursements to avoid late fees, and address vendor/internal payment inquiries.
• Reconciliations & Closing Support: Reconcile vendor statements and actively resolve outstanding balances. Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing by reconciling accounts payable and identifying unrecorded liabilities.
• Financial Reporting & Documentation: Generate and maintain accounts payable aging reports and payment activity summaries. Keep organized, accurate records of all invoices, payments, and correspondence.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure full compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and tax requirements (including 1099 reporting). Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary contact for the vendor desk regarding payment status and collaborate with the retail dealership network to resolve invoice disputes quickly.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Utilize AP automation tools to enhance productivity and accuracy. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and stay current on AP industry trends
