The position leads a team of inventory accountants, drives process improvements, and partners with store managers and corporate finance to support growth and accurate financial reporting from the corporate office in Chandler.

Responsibilities

• Lead Major Unit Accounting for new and used major unit inventory across the enterprise network.
• Direct floor plan payoff, audit reconciliations, interest calculations, and lender relationships to optimize cash flow.
• Ensure accurate month-end closing, inventory valuation, and margin variance reporting.
• Evaluate and enhance internal accounting controls, automated workflows, and system integrations.
• Establish and maintain stringent SOX-compliant inventory controls, physical cycle-count procedures, and valuation reconciliations enterprise-wide.
• Lead the accounting functional implementation and testing for inventory module enhancements within our ERP system.
• Develop and deliver operational inventory training programs for dealership managers and conduct regular compliance and physical inventories.
• Guide, train, and develop a high-performing team of inventory accountants and specialists.
• Partner with store general managers, corporate finance, and executive leadership to align operational goals.
• Other duties as assigned

We are seeking an Accounting Operations Manager, Major Unit Inventory to lead our inventory accounting team at our corporate headquarters in Chandler, AZ. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the accurate financial tracking, floor plan financing, and valuation of our major unit inventory across all nationwide dealership locations, ensuring robust internal controls and supporting business growth.

What You'll Own & Achieve
