Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager in Conyers, GA to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide financial analysis for the General Manager. You will lead an accounting team, manage AR/AP processes, and coordinate month-end with the corporate office.

The role requires a strong supervisory background, in-depth knowledge of payroll compliance, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of CCIP, ROCIP and certified payroll.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project accounting and track job costing with margin analysis.
• Supervise AR process including invoicing and collections.
• Supervise AP process including purchasing and vendor discounts.
• Coordinate month-end with corporate and GAAP reporting.
• Provide monthly margin and utilization reports to headquarters.
• Monitor equipment rental costs and advise on buy/rent decisions.
• Work with project managers to supply data for project management.
• Oversee training and process improvements from end-to-end invoicing.
• Perform monthly variance analysis with explanations.
• Review contracts and establish credit approvals and limits.
• Review lien waivers/releases.
