Job summary

MEI is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance. You will lead regional staff, guide project accounting, and support the General Manager with financial analysis and performance insights.

The role requires a strong background in AR/AP, cost and vendor management, and collaboration with the corporate office on monthly close and variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years as a supervisor or in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of CCIP, ROCIP, and certified payroll/prevailing wages.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Lead regional office accounting team and support General Manager with financial analysis.
• Monitor AR/AP processes, invoicing, collections, and vendor discounts.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses and reports for Corporate Office.
