Job summary

You will drive timely financial reporting, efficient month-end close, and scalable operations while modernizing workflows with ERP and analytics tools.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role emphasizes internal controls, process improvements, and collaboration with IT, operations, and finance to strengthen reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required
• Active CPA license required
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience including 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Experience managing Accounting, Accounts Payable or shared service accounting functions preferred
• Demonstrated success implementing process improvements or system enhancements

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned accounting operations and drive continuous improvement across processes, systems and internal controls
• Manage designated staff accountants and accounts payable professionals to ensure timely financial reporting and month-end close
• Modernize accounting workflows through automation and technology, partnering with IT and operations
• Oversee accounts payable function, vendor payments, and compliance with policies and controls
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support, research accounting guidance for new initiatives
• Support audits and internal controls, monitor KPIs and drive reporting improvements
