Job summary

Onto Innovation in Massachusetts is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain internal controls across corporate accounting.

You will partner with FP&A, tax, treasury, and auditors, mentor staff, drive process improvements, including automation, and support external audits while applying US GAAP and company policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of US GAAP and corporate accounting practices.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Ability to supervise and mentor accounting professionals.
• Proficiency with enterprise accounting systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for corporate accounting areas.
• Review balance sheet and income statement accounts, investigate variances, communicate findings to leadership.
• Oversee general ledger, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets.
