Job summary

IFAB Corp is seeking an Accounting & Process Manager to lead day-to-day accounting, close processes, and a small AP/AR team. You will evaluate financial and operational workflows, implement missing controls, and report on accountability across departments.

This role combines hands-on accounting with process design to strengthen accuracy and timeliness across the business. You will drive GAAP compliance, partner with leadership, and support audits while coaching the accounting team on best

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or job-shop/cost accounting.
• Experience with Sage 500 or comparable ERP and ERP changeover.
• Familiarity with standard costing, inventory, and variance analysis.
• Experience in documenting SOPs and building control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with timely results.
• Maintain general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for Controller.
• Maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Evaluate processes to identify gaps and design new controls and workflows.
• Standardize recurring processes to reduce errors and rework.
• Recommend system and automation improvements to boost accuracy.
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable clerks.
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and assist treasury activities.
• Support cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
