Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of finance, methods, tools and strategies.
• Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial data.
• Knowledge of and ability to use processes, tools and techniques for exploring and evaluating alternative financial scenarios and results.
• Knowledge of the functions, tools and processes needed to manage financial assets and liabilities throughout the organization.
• Knowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining the books of the organization and preparing financial statements and reports.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting applications specific to the organization.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff and manage performance to improve accounting functions.
• Oversee accounts payable, invoicing, and payroll.
• Implement internal controls to contain costs and increase efficiencies.
• Lead month-end close and produce key reports.
• Prepare analysis and reports; recommend improvements.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and policy adherence.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasts.
• Drive process improvements in accounting workflows.
• Oversee accounting information management system.
