Job summary

Far Bank Enterprises in Seattle seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and support audits across the states we operate.

You will manage and develop accounting staff, drive process improvements, and maintain strong internal controls while coordinating with Operations, Manufacturing, HR, IT, and Sales to meet strategic goals.

Experience with multi-entity consolidations, BOM analysis, and cost accounting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years' progressive accounting experience, multi-state.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Experience leading accounting staff and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Consolidate results across locations and entities as needed.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and audit readiness.
• Coach and supervise accounting staff; liaise with departments.
