Job summary

Silver Falls Capital, LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the full-cycle accounting for the company and its portfolio. Based at our Monroe, WA headquarters, you will lead GAAP-compliant close processes, maintain ledgers, and drive accuracy across multiple entities.

You’ll partner with finance and operations, implement internal controls, and help integrate new acquisitions while leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and shorten close times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or advanced degree in accounting or finance.
• 7+ years of accounting experience including leading close processes.
• Direct experience with US GAAP reporting and tax reporting.
• Experience with inventory accounting, lease accounting, and recurring revenue models.
• Experience with acquisition accounting, consolidation, and integration.
• Experience in multi-entity environments and intercompany accounting.
• Experience improving internal control environments.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, Aptean, Oracle) and strong Excel.
• Experience with Anthropic AI tools and integrating them into recurring workflows.
• Experience working with external CPAs on audits/reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close as the control owner, delivering GAAP-compliant financial statements for every entity and consolidated group.
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts for the parent company and portfolio companies.
• Review AR, AP, bank reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany activity.
• Maintain an effective internal control environment with proper separation of duties and approvals.
• Direct the accounting team's daily work, lead close standups, set priorities, and escalate issues to the Controller.
• Own federal, state, local, sales and use, property, cross-border, and business license filings.
• Coordinate with external CPAs for audits and tax filings.
