Far Bank Enterprises is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records. You will own month-end close, reconciliations, analysis, and audit support across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proven profit improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with monthly financial close processes and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Sage, Epicor, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other month-end adjustments.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances from budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, company policies, and internal control requirements.
• Review general ledger transactions for completeness and accuracy.
• Lead ERP system enhancements, testing, and process documentation.
• Provide financial analysis and accounting support for business initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for accounting-related questions across the organization.
