Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking an ambitious Accounting Manager to bolster our Finance team. You will own day-to-day general ledger operations, manage multi-entity consolidations, and drive the month-end close in a fast-growing, multi-state startup environment.

You will partner with Finance and cross-functional leaders to support ERP implementation, audit readiness, and scalable processes across in-house and remote teams. A strong foundation in US GAAP and cloud accounting is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive general ledger accounting, public accounting, or financial operations experience in a high-growth multi-state startup.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity consolidations.
• Experience with modern cloud accounting systems and spend management platforms.
• ERP implementation exposure and audit preparation involvement.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day general ledger operations and month-end close workflows.
• Manage multi-entity consolidations, intercompany eliminations, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and related vendor onboarding, invoicing, and payments.
