Job summary

STIIIZY, Inc. in Vernon, CA seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee multi-entity accounting operations, drive close processes, and improve internal controls. This hands-on leadership role requires preparing reconciliations and journal entries while guiding a distributed team.

You will report to the Controller and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. The role emphasizes automation through ERP systems and data tools.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) in multi-entity environments.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling.
• Experience with intercompany, consolidations, and cost accounting in manufacturing/distribution.
• Understanding of internal controls, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and provide insights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of accounting areas across entities (AP, AR, inventory, GL).
• Support month-end and year-end close; prepare reconciliations, schedules, journal entries.
• Manage intercompany transactions and multi-entity consolidation.
• Lead and develop accounting team across locations; performance management.
• Communicate results, variances, and process changes to leadership and non-finance.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation in reconciliation/close.
• Collaborate with auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
• Drive automation using Odoo, SQL, Excel; training provided as needed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen internal controls.
• Perform additional duties to support business objectives.
