Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead key general accounting functions, close processes, and internal controls across multiple locations. This hands-on leader will mentor a Senior Accountant and contribute to ERP migration initiatives.

The role requires a CPA, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and the ability to drive process improvements and acquisitions integration with cross‑functional teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience in multi-location manufacturing/distribution environments.
• Experience with M&A and post-acquisition accounting integration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Oversee general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy.
• Mentor Senior Accountant; assist in building out the team.
• Support inventory and cost accounting across sites.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and stronger controls.
• Play key role in acquisitions including purchase accounting and open balance sheets.
• Partner with acquired businesses to standardize policies and procedures.
• Research complex accounting matters and advise leadership.
• Support tax accounting and coordination with external advisors.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare schedules.
• Contribute to ERP transformation and data validation across systems.
