Vaco by Highspring, a well-established distribution organization, seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee month-end close, consolidations across multiple entities, and to lead a small accounting team.

The ideal candidate brings a strong technical accounting foundation, preferably from public accounting, with CPA highly preferred, and can balance hands-on work with leadership in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting foundation, ideally from public accounting.
• Experience with GAAP, internal controls, and multi-entity reporting.
• CPA certification is highly preferred.
• 5+ years in progressive accounting roles incl. close and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close across multiple entities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Manage general ledger accounting and policy compliance.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff.
