Job summary

Crimson Wine Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. This role owns the month-end close in line with corporate standards and partners with managers across the organization.

You will support budgeting and forecasting, coordinate with external auditors, maintain GAAP/SOX controls, and mentor accounting staff. This is a leadership position with a focus on accuracy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• 5+ years of related accounting experience.
• Experience with GAAP and SOX.

Responsibilities

• Lead the general accounting team including AR, AP, fixed assets and GL.
• Own the month-end close process.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit schedules.
• Support budgeting and forecasting.
• Mentor staff and develop their skills.
• Maintain internal accounting controls compliant with SOX.
