Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager in Seattle, WA to support the Revenue Accounting Projects Team. You will oversee ledger activities, ensure correct US GAAP application, and drive process improvements across the close cycle.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 6+ years of accounting experience, SOX expertise, and strong Excel/data analytics skills. This is a Hybrid role going into the office three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting.
• 6+ years of accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with SOX controls and external audits a plus.
• Big 4 or technology industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal process improvements to enhance reporting and accounting controls.
• Assist in monthly worldwide accounting close and journal entries.
• Ensure proper application of US GAAP and revenue accounting standards.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with FP&A, Revenue Operations, Tax, IT, and Compliance.
• Support SOX compliance activities and interaction with auditors.
• Deliver on ad‑hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
