Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager in the Global Accounting group to lead the monthly close, oversee journal entries and reconciliations, and ensure SOX compliance in a fast-paced, high‑visibility environment.

You will collaborate cross‑functionally with Infrastructure, IT, and Finance, prepare schedules for the 10-Q and 10-K, apply ASC 350 rules, mentor the team, and drive continuous process improvements across locations.

Qualifications

6+ years of accounting experience, with public accounting and corporate background.
Experience leading a team and coordinating cross-functional work.
Experience with Workday and Oracle ERP systems.
Strong Excel skills and data analysis.
Solid US GAAP and SOX knowledge.
Effective communication with cross-functional and remote teams.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end close by performing variance analyses and overseeing journal entries and reconciliations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Infrastructure, IT, and Finance teams.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX controls and documentation.
Lead and prepare schedules to support the 10Q and 10K financial reporting process.
Apply ASC 350-40 and ASC 350-50 to related accounting.
Work with audit teams to support the annual audit with schedules and evidence.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to accounting processes.
Manage team across locations and mentor staff.
Drive special projects to completion.
