Job summary

Suno is building a world-class accounting team to close the books efficiently and pave the way for an IPO. You will own major close components, document repeatable processes, and contribute to the audit and future IPO readiness with an emphasis on AI-driven efficiency.

You will also help design scalable systems, automate routine tasks, and work closely with leadership to balance startup speed with accounting rigor.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting experience in Big 4 and high-growth industry.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge with end-to-end close ownership.
• Experience supporting external financial statement audits; first-year audit ideal.
• Generalist capable of handling technical, operational, and systems work.
• Demonstrated use of AI and automation to speed and improve accuracy.
• Entrepreneurial builder mindset balancing rigor with startup flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Own significant areas of monthly close, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
• Build and document repeatable accounting processes across the function.
• Support the first-year financial statement audit and IPO readiness.
• Research technical accounting questions with organized workpapers and analysis.
• Apply AI and automation to accounting processes with proper guardrails.
• Strengthen accounting foundation across processes and systems.
