Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking a Director of Accounting Operations to own and scale the global close process across multiple entities. You will design the close framework, lead consolidation in NetSuite OneWorld, and build an automation-focused accounting operations function that supports IPO readiness.

The role requires a CPA, 10+ years in accounting with multi-entity leadership, and a track record of implementing SOX 404 controls and public-company reporting readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with 5+ years leading a multi-entity month-end close.
• Public company experience or SEC reporting familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for the enterprise.
• Design close, reconciliations, and internal controls to enable public-company reporting timelines.
• Lead consolidation close in NetSuite OneWorld and intercompany eliminations.
• Establish journal entry approvals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations standards.
• Develop and maintain the record-to-report control environment for SOX 404.
• Build and scale accounting operations with a focus on automation and AI-driven tooling.
