Job summary

Integra LifeSciences is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee a small team responsible for the general ledger, monthly close, and financial reporting. You will coordinate with IT, FP&A, and shared services to ensure accurate, timely results and strong internal controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 8+ years of accounting experience with 2+ years in leadership, and proficiency with Oracle ERP. Hybrid work between Princeton, NJ and remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years in corporate/public accounting with at least 2 years in people management.
• Strong computer skills; Oracle ERP experience a plus.
• Detail oriented with ability to analyze and reconcile financial data.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Well organized and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly journal entries, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Run monthly reports to analyze general ledger balances.
• Review account analyses for internal and external reporting.
• Review monthly financial statements and explain fluctuations.
• Coordinate with IT, Shared Services A/R and A/P, FP&A, Procurement, and others.
• Support department heads with budget vs actual variances.
• Oversee monthly close process for the team.
• Ensure sub-ledgers feed the general ledger accurately and timely.
• Post required journal entries and train staff within the team.
• Ensure SOX 404 compliance and related procedures.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
