The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a CPA, and is proficient in U.S. GAAP. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, leading close processes, and enhancing internal controls. The role also involves managing a small team in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a public accounting background.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Manage and oversee accounting for various funds or restricted accounts.
• Develop and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk.
• Partner with finance leadership to improve accounting policies.
