Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GL, close processes, and financial reporting.
• Experience reviewing customer contracts and interpreting billing terms.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify discrepancies.
• Able to operate independently in a hands-off environment with escalation when needed.
• Excellent communication with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Intellectual curiosity and business acumen; builder's mindset to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer invoice management and billing workflows.
• Monitor accounts receivable, aging, and collections.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and reconciliations.
• Develop and improve internal controls and processes.
• Handle annual filings and compliance tasks as applicable.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Staff Accountant.
• Collaborate with senior leadership across departments.
