MCI seeks a motivated Accountant to join our finance team in Florida. You will maintain records, produce timely reports, and support internal controls and budgeting. Your contributions will help ensure GAAP compliance and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 1–2 years of accrual-based accounting experience (AR, journal entries, month-end close, bank reconciliations).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interact across organization levels.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects.
• High attention to detail with proofreading/editing skills.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to work independently.
• Regular and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing and aging reports.
• Record routine journal entries and bank transactions.
• Enter accounts payable bills and credit card transactions as needed.
• Perform month-end closings and reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly.
• Collaborate with and support other team members across departments.
