Casa de las Campanas, located in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego, seeks an Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations including GL, A/P, A/R, fixed assets, and budgeting support for independent living, assisted living, dementia care, and home care.

The role requires 3+ years in GL, AP/AR, and supervisory experience; degree in accounting preferred, not-for-profit background a plus. Competitive benefits and retirement plan offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years well rounded experience in GL, A/P, A/R, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, cash receipts, and billing.
• Supervisory experience and Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Previous experience in not for profit or foundation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyses specific GL accounts on a monthly basis with appropriate support.
• Prepares journal entries related to GL account analysis as needed.
• Identifies and initiates policy and procedure changes as needed for the department.
• Prepares bank and other investment reconciliations as necessary.
• Updates fixed asset accounting system, annual property filing statement, and compare expenditures to budget.
• Reconcile construction in progress accounts.
• Prepares audit schedules and related audit confirmations.
• Update and certify the BlackLine System for assigned GL account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
