Job summary

Casa de las Campanas in Rancho Bernardo, CA, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations, supervise staff, and oversee GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and billing for independent living, assisted living, dementia care, and in-home care services.

The role includes budget input, audit support, and maintaining BlackLine reconciliations, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, internal controls, and collaboration across campus foundations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, cash receipts, and billing.
• Supervisory experience and degree in Accounting preferred.
• Not-for-profit or foundation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze specific GL accounts monthly with appropriate supporting.
• Prepare journal entries related to GL account analysis as needed.
• Identify and initiate policy and procedure changes as needed for the department.
• Prepare bank and other investment reconciliations as necessary.
• Update fixed asset accounting system, annual property filing statement, and compare expenditures to budget.
• Reconcile construction in progress accounts.
• Prepare audit schedules and related audit confirmations.
• Update and certify the BlackLine System for assigned GL account reconciliations on a monthly basis.

Who you are:

-3 years well rounded experience in GL, A/P, A/R, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, cash receipts, and billing
-Supervisory experience and Degree in Accounting preferred
-Previous experience in not for profit or foundation preferred

Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations and for staff supervision of the accounting department. General responsibilities include but are not limited to; bank reconciliations, cash receipts, preparation of entrance fee schedules, fixed assets, Foundation accounting, various GL (general ledger) account analysis and oversight of Accounts Payable and billing. Manager will assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable for independent living, assisted living, dementia care and in home care and will assist with the budget preparation and inputting of data. This position provides accounting support to Casa de las Campanas as well as the Casa Foundation.

Essential Job Duties:

• AnalyzesspecificGLaccounts onamonthlybasis withappropriatesupport.

Rate of Pay:

$82,000 - $90,000 Annually
