Job summary

Foundation for Senior Living is seeking a skilled accounting professional to maintain the general ledger and financial statements for multiple program entities under supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with operations leadership.

Responsibilities include budgeting assistance, journal entries, reconciliations, asset and debt schedules, and audit support. The ideal candidate has a BS/BA in accounting and 4–5 years of GL experience, with ERP and Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Four to five years of general ledger experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 BC.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between finance and operations leadership.
• Assist with yearly budgeting.
• Review payroll allocations and other expense allocations.
• Review or prepare cost reimbursement billings.
• Review or post journal entries after reviewing support documentation.
• Book adjustments and accrual entries as needed.
• Review or complete account reconciliations including intercompany accounts.
• Maintain fixed asset, debt, and other schedules/documentation.
• Prepare audit schedules and assemble documentation for auditors.
• Maintain current accounting related contract files for assigned programs.
• Ensure the accuracy of program entity information in the general ledger and financial statements.
• Meets month-end close deadlines.
• Assists and provides leadership for internal and external audits.
• Serves as back-up to other accounting staff.
• Answers requests from finance operations leadership in a timely and complete manner.
• Ad hoc reporting as required.
