Job summary

Scripps Health in San Diego is seeking a Manager, Accounting for a full-time, benefit-eligible role that is remote but requires you to be local in San Diego or willing to relocate. You will supervise the Accounting staff, provide timely financial information, and help design internal controls.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in accounting or finance with four years of experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid foundation in internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with four years' progressive accounting responsibilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and successful team leadership.
• Able to set goals, evaluate and direct while maintaining morale and productivity.
• Understanding of internal accounting controls and ability to develop them.
• Able to implement plans to improve performance and ensure accuracy.

• Supervise accounting staff and coordinate tasks.
• Provide timely, accurate financial information and maintain internal controls.
• Design and implement accounting policies and procedures.
