Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking an Accounting Manager to assist the Controller in running the Accounting Department, including GL management, fixed assets, cash control, and monthly close. The role requires leadership of staff and coordination of audits, with a focus on accurate financial reporting and internal control adherence.

The position is on-site in San Diego, CA, with a heavy emphasis on timely financial statements, payroll accruals, and collaboration with the finance team to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related area.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• 7–10 years of related education/experience.
• 5–7 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with general ledger, payroll, and close processes.

Responsabilités

• Oversee general ledger and month-end close processes.
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure accurate reporting.
• Manage fixed assets, cash management, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate audits and prepare audit work papers.
• Ensure internal controls and reporting compliance.
