Job summary

KLA Industries in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced accounting leader to supervise month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive internal reporting. You will mentor staff, oversee general ledger, asset accounting, and audits, and partner with finance and operations to improve processes.

The role requires 7+ years of accounting experience, strong SOX knowledge, proficiency in Excel and SAP, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with SOX compliance and audits.
• Ability to supervise multiple close cycles and accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets and capital expenditures accounting.
• Provide internal financial reporting and analysis for management and external auditors.
• Lead and develop accounting staff; manage staffing, coaching, and performance.
• Ensure internal controls and SOX compliance within processes.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and schedules for auditors and management.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
