Qualifikationen

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; CPA or CPA exam eligibility is preferred.
• Five years or more of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience in a power generation/renewable or manufacturing organization is advantageous.
• Project cost management experience is a plus; strong PC skills with Windows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Oracle; supervisory/management experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the monthly closing and reporting process in compliance with US GAAP and distribute statements to management.
• Manage the reporting process ensuring accuracy of month-end and annual financial reports and narratives.
• Assist with management of project expenditures to budget and with annual budgeting.
• Monitor budget-to-actuals and analyze variances; propose corrective actions.
• Identify improvements in accounting applications and operational procedures; communicate value-added solutions.
• Ensure SOX compliance and streamline processes for greater accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain internal controls over revenue, costs, and program budgets; supervise direct reports.
• Participate in special projects as directed and contribute to team initiatives.
