Job summary

STATE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, ELEVENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT in Miami seeks an Accounting Manager to support the Fiscal Director. You will oversee budgeting, general ledgers, accounts payable, contracts, procurement, and property records at the E.R. Graham Building.

The role requires a CPA or a master’s degree with several years of professional accounting experience, plus supervisory capabilities. The position offers a limited flexible schedule and teleworking options.

Qualifications

• CPA certificate and 3 years of professional accounting experience with at least 1 year in supervision.
• Master’s degree in finance or accounting with 3 years of professional accounting experience and supervisory work.
• Bachelor degree in finance/accounting with 4 years of accounting experience and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting sections: budgeting, ledgers, accounts payable, contracts, procurement, and property records.
• Maintain specialized accounting records for funds provided, expended, and year-end projections.
• Prepare and review budget requests; track expenditures and perform management analysis.
• Maintain payment of invoices, contract reporting, and purchasing of commodities/services.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing vendor contracts, grant agreements, and related documents.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
