The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office seeks an Accounting Manager to support the Fiscal Director, overseeing budgeting, ledgers, accounts payable, contracts, and procurement.

The role requires supervisory experience and strong reporting skills; a CPA with 3 years’ experience (or a Master's with 3 years) and knowledge of governmental fund accounting and FLAIR are essential. Office hours are 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with limited telework options.

Formación

• CPA certificate with three years of professional accounting experience (one in supervisory capacity).
• OR Master's degree with three years of professional accounting experience (one in supervisory capacity).
• Knowledge of governmental fund accounting and legislative appropriation processes; ability to interpret FLAIR and other financial reporting systems.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise fiscal staff and oversee budgeting, general ledgers, accounts payable, contract records, and procurement.
• Prepare budget requests and track expenditures.
• Maintain specialized accounting records and reporting.
