You will supervise accounting staff, support treasury activities, and participate in audits and lender reporting while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 based on experience, plus benefits and advancement opportunities

We are seeking an Accounting Manager who is looking for more than just their next job. This role is ideal for a Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, or emerging Accounting Manager who wants the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and develop into a Controller-level position over time. You will work closely with executive leadership and gain exposure to all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, audits, treasury management, lender reporting, and business operations.

The Accounting Manager will play a key role in the accounting department by supporting the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, audit preparation, and process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow professionally. This position offers significant exposure to company leadership and a clear opportunity for advancement as the organization continues to expand.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare and review journal entries
  • Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet analyses
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting
  • Analyze financial results and investigate variances
  • Support external audits and regulatory examinations
  • Assist with lender reporting and compliance requirements
  • Help maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
  • Support treasury and cash management activities
  • Assist in supervising and developing accounting staff
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • 4+ years of accounting experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
