Job summary

ConnectPoint Search Group, based in Stockton, CA, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will drive month-end close, GAAP compliance, and process improvements while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership and analytical abilities, with ERP experience and a CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting and supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Experience with ERP accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• CPA or working toward CPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting functions, including GL, balance sheets, and financial statements.
• Lead and develop accounting staff through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Manage month-end close, inventory reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial data for accuracy.
• Lead external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Perform financial analysis, including P&L and balance sheet fluctuations.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is from $115K to $130K, depending on experience.
