Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and accounting best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger and reconciliations.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Review journal entries and supporting schedules for accuracy.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist with audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Salary: USD40 - USD70 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial analysis efforts.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and assist with audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to support business objectives and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• CPA or CPA-track.
• Experience in financial reporting, audit support, budgeting, or corporate accounting environments.

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. We are open to considering candidates with a range of accounting leadership backgrounds and will align compensation accordingly.
