Qualifications

Job description

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to leadership
• Partner with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting a plus)
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
