MHS is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee month‑end, quarterly and annual close processes as well as annual audit support, tax form preparation, and enterprise financial systems. This role plays a critical role part in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strong decision support across the organization which is essential to the perpetuity of the school. Responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Own financial accuracy, audits, and GAAP compliance
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and fixed assets
• Manage Form 990, NAIS reporting, and audit deliverables
• Serve as SME for PeopleSoft (Financials & GL)
• Partner across HR/Finance on system integration and reporting
• Oversee cash management & banking activities
• Provide leadership across accounting and shared services

Qualifications

• Bachelors in accounting/finance, CPA required.
• 8+ years of accounting experience with leadership scope.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, audits, and GAAP.
• ERP experience required (PeopleSoft preferred).
