Korn Ferry is partnering with a growing client to recruit an Accounting Manager in the Cleveland area. This remote-friendly leadership role oversees the monthly close, consolidations across multiple locations, and a team of accounting professionals to ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will partner with Finance, AP, AR, Treasury and Tax, drive process improvements, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to audits and strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of accounting experience with ownership of accounting processes.
• Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience in complex, multi-entity or multi-location organizations.
• CPA preferred.
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting process for a large multi-location business.
• Lead consolidations and monthly close for accurate reporting and analysis.
• Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Primary accounting contact for external audit support and requests.
• Partner with Finance, AP, AR, Treasury, Tax, and operations across the business.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and special projects as needed.
• Drive accountability and proactively identify potential concerns.

Korn Ferry has partnered with our industry-leading and growing client for an Accounting Manager search.This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering across the organization to drive financial accuracy, process improvement, and operational excellence.

The Accounting Manager will lead key accounting processes, oversee a team of accounting professionals, and serve as a trusted partner to finance and operational leadership. You will own the monthly close process, support audit and reporting initiatives, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting across a complex multi-location business.

Target Compensation up to $130K (depending on experience) + bonus and strong benefits.

REMOTE - Preference in Cleveland Area - Limited Travel for Quarterly Meetings

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Hands-on Accounting Manager that will own the accounting process for a large multi-location business
• Lead consolidations and monthly close to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Serve as the primary accounting contact for external audit support and requests
• Partner with Finance, AP, AR, Treasury, Tax, and operational teams across the business
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and special projects as needed
• Drive accountability and proactively identify potential concerns

Skills Needed:

• Targeting 5 to 10 years of experience - ownership of accounting processes
• Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Background working in complex, multi-entity or multi-location organizations
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related field
