Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager in Macedonia, OH to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls. This hands-on leadership role covers the general ledger, month-end close, AP/AR, payroll, and fixed assets while partnering with leadership on financial analysis.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience and strong GAAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience are expected.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP compliance.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other financial analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and financial controls.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members.

Position Overview (Accounting Manager)

The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes. This is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for the general ledger, month‑end close, financial reporting, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets. The Accounting Manager will also partner closely with company leadership, provide financial analysis and operational insight, and lead and develop the accounting team.
